An ongoing research project examining how universities can retain institutional authority, ethical responsibility, and decision-making legitimacy as artificial intelligence becomes embedded in teaching, assessment, and academic administration.

Academic Authority and Institutional Legitimacy in AI-Mediated Education

This project explores how academic judgement, legitimacy, and public trust are reshaped when artificial intelligence systems influence academic decisions traditionally governed by human institutional authority.
